Accents Vlog -- as a Voice Blog, not video!

I really wanted to participate in this "Accents Vlog" thing that people are doing, but I didn't want to post a video because of the more anonymous nature of my Blog these days.  So!  I've recorded just my VOICE, saying what others have been saying for this meme.  It's actually pretty fun to hear each other's voices!  Enjoy! (Also, my voice sounds MUCH DEEPER in my head than it ever does when I hear it on a recording... so weird).

Here's what I had to do, so you can do it too!

Say the following words:
Aunt, route, wash, oil, theatre, iron, salmon, caramel, fire, water, sure, data, ruin, crayon, toilet, New Orleans, pecan, both, again, probably, spitting image, Alabama, lawyer, coupon, mayonnaise, syrup, pajamas, caught

And answer these questions:
What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that curls into a ball when you touch it?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you use to change the TV channel?

  1. The sound file didn't work for me, Ms. Key! :( I'm curious to hear what your answers were to these questions! (Admittedly, I struggled on a couple...)

(P.S. I am posting as one of my articles. It's an experiment with backlinking. I wanted to see if it actually works!)

When asking yourself, "Comment or don't comment?" the answer is ALWAYS COMMENT! C'mon, you know you want to.
